Beach hut winning design
The Winners of last years design competition for accessible beach huts are currently being installed near to boscombe pier! The huts were chosen after hundreds of models were submitted to the open competition and will be finished in the new year. See the designs
Warm up your feet & Give the fish a treat!
This little piggy fish spa has opened up in the Royal arcade in Boscombe offering a fish foot pedecure spa, If you havent heard of this - you put your feet in a tank of little carp and they nibble away at all the dead skin! I have tried it and love it. This is a great gift idea, go check them out!

The Dilemma of Christmas

A discussion led by Angela Joynson on Humanist approaches to the festive season. Should atheists celebrate Christmas? Should we reclaim it as a pagan or non-religious festival? Should we avoid the commercial frenzy and simply fly away to some warm, Christmas-free zone? All these questions plus home-made mulled wine and mince pies.

Friends of Fishermans Walk Winter Celebration
Sunday 12 Dec 11am to 4pm
This year there will be live music on the Bandstand from Anthony Adams (Frank Sinatra), starting at noon, The Salvation Army with traditional Christmas music. In addition to the music, there will be a range of market stalls provided by local traders and craftspeople plying their wares along with our usual traditional games, activities and refreshments. This is a free family event based at the Bandstand, Fishermans Walk in Southbourne.

Boscombe and Springbourne Walk in Health Centre
Open to all! is open 8am until 8pm, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Appointments can either be pre-booked by phone (01202 727969) for registered patients; or urgent walk-in appointments are available throughout the opening times by coming to the health centre. The Centre is at 11 Shelley Rd Boscombe. |
