Sainsbury's Boscombe Charity Silent Auction

For Red Nose Day this year Sainsbury's Boscombe are holding a charity auction at AFC Bournemouth.
The auction tables shall be open from 7.30 pm to 9pm, followed by some light entertainment and the results of the auction.
Tickets are priced at £5.00, please contact us for information on buying tickets.
All monies raised will be donated Comic Relief

Help Transform Pokesdown Station We Need your Images Now!
Deadline for Submissions: Thursday 25 March 2011
Pokesdown (for Boscombe) station is about to be transformed by Boscombe artist Soap (aka Adam Klodzinski). Commissioned by Bournemouth Borough Council, Soap will create an amazing artwork which will cover the entire blank wall on the platform - and he needs your help to make this happen.
Soap is looking for inspiration to help him create the image. He would like YOU to submit a photograph or drawing which you feel celebrates the vibrance, the beauty and diversity of the local area.
If your image is selected, you will have the opportunity to see how Soap will incorporate it into the design and YOUR name will be acknowledged alongside the artwork.

The Urban Pie and Ale festival
Friday March 25 from 6pm until 10pm,
To get into the swing of spring the Urban Reef team, based on Boscombe promenade, have decided to hold their very own ‘Pie and Ale festival’ in association with Palmers Brewery.
The team will be serving a host of delicious pies and ales out on the decking area. Some of the pies on offer will include:
Steak and blue vinney pie , Chicken, lemon and coriander pie, Cheddar cheese homity pie (v)
To help people get that ‘Friday feeling’ a resident urban musician will be also playing some merry tunes.

Boscombe and Springbourne Walk in Health Centre
Open to all! is open 8am until 8pm, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Appointments can either be pre-booked by phone (01202 727969) for registered patients; or urgent walk-in appointments are available throughout the opening times by coming to the health centre. The Centre is at 11 Shelley Rd Boscombe.
